Dude, I am sorry to hear about the motorcycle accident--I feel for you, and I'm serious in stating that. I hope you are able to heal up.
I can relate as I have been in Level 7-10 pain (Pain Scale) for 2 years, 11 months, 24/7 (no change when I sleep) from 2 failed foot surgeries that ended up affecting my whole body. As a touch of irony and fuckery from the Universe, I have a natural immunity (brain receptor issue) to almost all painkillers, including morphine, hydromorphone, and maybe 10-15% effectiveness from 200mcg of Fentanyl Citrate (on a "good" day).
To make matters worse, 4 days before my scheduled 3rd foot surgery last year, I discovered my ex-girlfriend of 8 years had been having an affair (and financial destroying me); thus, no foot surgery, and I'm crippled for life (which isn't going to last way longer due to other issues--LOL).
I also understand about the financial issue. I haven't worked since April 17, 2020 due to COVID-19, and the previous year was very sparse due to being disabled. I only have enough money for one (maybe two) more months of cell/internet, so I'm downloading like a maniac. POINT IS, I hear ya, brutha, and pray-fully hope you recover.
